The Babies "Caroline"

Listening to this makes me feel like I'm running along side a pack of wolves, in slow-motion of course. It's subtle bassy build slowly links into a surfy guitar lick which then moves into a slow tribal drum beat accompanied by a lonely yet firm high hat clapping away in the background which builds and builds into a very communal chant of "Heyyyyyyy Caroline." Pull out the face paint and loin cloth and start howlin' at the moon cause shit's about to get real great.

Tennis - New song (Footage) / Babies "Sick Kid"

I feel like if there were a teen bop magazine for all the little hip kids of the world, that this disgustingly cute married duo would be on the cover of like every issue for the next year. I found myself cooing, like a teen girl watching the notebook for the first time, when they were kissing on stage during their setup... So this is some footage of a new, and obviously impressive, song that isn't on their album. They played it tonight at the tin can. Congrats to Kelsey for booking such a feel good, sell out show! Also, a side note, just so you SD kids have the heads up, The Babies will be playing tin can on the 17th of this month. Below the footage is a Babies track that'll have you sayin, "Did the Black lips get better?.... oh wait, I guess it's The Babies, hmmm maybe I'll go peep that show on the 17th." Seriously though, come out for that show it's gonna be a good one!
