It's always scary when your friends ask you to listen their music. Cause you know, what if it sucks? How are you supposed to tell them? Luckily for me the exact opposite just happened. My buddy Andrew just dropped this dope ass gem on my life. The surf-y guitar licks coupled up with the melancholic drug induced lyrics are doing nothing short of flooring me. Long live Barbarian and another score on the board for San Diego music. Listen to the track below and if you like it, show all your friends. If you don't like it, you don't know anything.

So tonight Ditches are opening up for Pterodactyl at tin can ale house. If you went to the last Field-trip event then you saw them rock the fuckin house with The Burning of Rome. Anywho get your ass down to tin can cause these kids rule all. They're definitely in my top three favorite San Diego bands right now. Peep the track below and you'll know why. See you kids at the tin can tonight.

So, like the rest of the world, I can't fucking wait for the new black keys album. And like normal I'm a little late to the game with the new video. My Buddy Tommy B. dropped this footage on me last night. It's beyond genius, hommies got some mean dance moves and a death stare that could choke a wild stallion. Most importantly though is the content of the song. It's upbeat, dance happy, and depressing as fuck, I love it... "Any old time you keep me waiting, oh wah oh I got a love that keeps me waiting, I'm a lonely boy". I'm pretty sure that this is my unofficial theme song. Long live the happy grooves of sad-bastardism!

Sometimes hitting some Elliot Smith type tones and feelings S.S.L.Y.B.Y. also ranges into some nostalgic territory. Capturing a lovely bedroom tone and a sunny childlike bliss. Make sure not to miss this show at Soda Bar on Dec. 10th. peep the tune below, and enjoy, ya babes.

Well I've been wondering when indie-rocks cutest couple was gonna release a new track. Here it is and surprise surprise it fucking rules. No joke these two are cuter than a puppy hugging a kitten in a birthday hat. Oh yeah and did I mention that Patrick Carney of The Black Keys produced this track..... So there's that.

I have no idea what you kids are doing tonight. But I'm pretty sure it's not gonna be as dope as watching Bruisecaster tear it up at Soda bar tonight. You should prolly cancel dinner with your whiny ass girlfriend and tell your mom you'll help her "learn the Internet" at a later and get your ass to Soda. Show starts at 9. See you weenies there.

Holy shit! Die Antwoord is straight heating up for their January album drop. Yolandi is sexier than ever, bringing her fiesty verbal attacks to a whole new level and Ninja's still droppin the most wicked threats in South Africa. Seriously though, I gotta be honest, the best part of this track is the end when DJ Hi-Tek comes in and threatens to " Fuck you in the ass, you punk ass white boy". Considering hommies actually gay, this is the most gangster shit I've heard in forever. Hi-Tek is shattering verbal boundaries and shaking shit up. Peep the video below, and if you need it, there's a disclaimer video below to explain what you've just seen.
