If you don't think that this song is the most badass thing you've heard all year long, then there is something seriously wrong with your ears. All the guitar work, married into the tribal drum beats, all lifting up some extra sexy dance-off-pants-off vocals, seem to form some pretty dope fighting montage imagery inside my noggin. Do yourself a favor and buy this god damn album, it's only five beans and it's better than most of the bullshit that comes out on Capitol records. OK, enough blabbering, press play, but make sure to clear everything out of your room real quick for some dancing space, shit's about to get pretty awesome!

COOLRUNNINGS "Jessie"

Earlier this month COOLRUNNINGS released their new full length album "Dracula is Only the Beginning" and I couldn't be more pleased about that. Everything these kids do pumps me up to no end. Not to mention they release all their shit on their own. This album can be found on their bandcamp account for five beans. So it's up to you, you can either buy yet another soggy cold-cut trio from Subway, or get one of the dopest albums that I've heard all year...... If you still need some convincing I put the song "Jesse" below, but I must warn you, you're prolly gonna listen to it like a thousand times cause it's like visiting the worlds funnest haunted house party, enjoy!
PS. I know that the picture I used is an old album cover of theirs but I seriously can't get over it. Best Album cover/album title ever these guys are the best!

COOLRUNNINGS "Chorus" (MP3)

Throw this new recording of "Chorus" on for size. It's one of my favorite COOLRUNNINGS tracks ever. I just like how much these guys joke around with their music. I feel like every other song they make is them trying to tell the world to fuck off and leave them alone cause they wanna get fucked up and sleep all the time, and if they wanna party and cuss you out then that should be perfectly fine with you. They take on the persona of a 17 year old skate rat that happens to like really good music...... It's pretty comedy.

I don't know exactly what's going on with me and this song but it's definitely something great. I guess I should start from the beginning...... This song quickly rolls into a very pathetic, out of tune, plea for revenge to straight slam down with this girls best friend. And like a stream of clarity, the richest, hang-ten-guitar-solo, rips right through all of the day to day bullshit that seems to be represented in the first 51 seconds of this jam. From there it seems to manifest into an almost confessional of how fucked up it can be to just breath around the opposite sex sometimes. When all is said and done the song offers no conclusions to these very common problems, but instead paints a very vivid and realistic portrait of what it is to exist in love and confusion.

I hope they use this song in the New Ghost Busters movie. I could totally see Ernie Hudson blastin the shit outta some spooky ghosts to this jam... Seriously though get into WALSH it's good for you.
